Dorothy Bunce is a licensed Nevada attorney dedicated to helping hard-working
Nevadans solve their financial problems. She named her law firm A Fresh Start
because she believes that anyone can suffer financial hardship -- and everyone
deserves a second chance.
Admitted to the Nevada Bar Association in 1978, Dorothy has been officially
recognized as one of the first 100 women admitted to the practice of law in
Nevada. She has been named as the Las Vegas Bankruptcy Attorney of the Year
by the Consumer Business Review for the past 7 years.
She's marked a few other milestones as well. For instance, Dorothy handled
her first bankruptcy in 1979. Back then, every page was prepared on a typewriter
with six layers of carbon paper. Back then, simply completing the forms was
a nightmare!
Today, state-of-the-art computer software simplifies much of the paperwork,
and filling out the bankruptcy forms takes hardly any time at all. But technology
is hardly a replacement for a dedicated and experienced attorney who understands
your unique needs. At A Fresh Start Law Firm, we devote our time to planning
your bankruptcy and making sure that your case meets all the legal requirements
enforced here in Nevada. In short, we do more than just fill out a bunch of
forms and send you out the door. We help real people solve real financial problems
so they can get on with their lives.
And Dorothy certainly knows about devotion and dedication. Dorothy is a former "fat
girl" and has lost over 100 pounds. She understands all too well that
the claim that "one size fits all" is a lie -- whether it's for
clothing or for your bankruptcy. When not helping clients, Dorothy enjoys
working out the gym and running with her Papillons, Oreo and Gigi, and their
two puppies, Alfie and Brownie.
